I am thrilled to present this workshop with my good friend and colleague, Robbie Johnson, CG®. Together with Family History Academy, we are excited to offer genealogists and family historians something a little different!

What’s the Plan?
This two-session workshop is designed to maximize fun and productivity. Each session lasts three hours and includes a well-timed break in the middle to recharge.
As a student, you’ll receive a workbook that takes you step by step through the process of clarifying your research question and creating a one-page summary that can be shared with the group. You’ll also receive a 12-page syllabus filled with research strategies, methodologies, and resources that you might not have thought of before.
- Each student will submit a one-page summary of their research question and the work they’ve done so far.
- During the workshop, you’ll have 5 minutes to present your challenge.
- The group will then spend 15 minutes brainstorming solutions in real time.
- You’ll participate in solving other attendees’ brick walls, too.
When and Where?
- Dates: July 31 and August 7, 2024 on Zoom
